Notifications reach your phone or computer even when ClubAffili is closed. They are separate from email: turning them on changes nothing about the emails you receive.
Turn them on
Open Menu, tap Notifications, then tap the green Turn on notifications button. Your browser asks for permission: choose Allow. Tap Send a test to prove it works.
One switch covers everything. There are no boxes to tick: turning notifications on means you get every kind of alert ClubAffili sends.
Each device is separate
The switch applies to the device in your hand. Turn it on again on your laptop if you want alerts there too. Turning it off on one device leaves your others alone.
On an iPhone or iPad
Apple only allows notifications for apps on the Home Screen. In Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Open ClubAffili from that icon and turn notifications on there.
Turning them off
Same place: Menu, then Notifications, then Turn off notifications. Alerts stop on that device straight away.
